Our monthly meetings are held at: 488 Madison Ave, Floor 19, NY 10022 at 6 PM. The meeting date is typically the third Thursday of each month, and is announced through our e-mail list and on our IG account.
Meetings feature a presentation or a roundtable discussion on a particular topic. We also have an auction at each meeting featuring plants, seeds, and pottery contributed by members - all proceeds go to the club. Members are also encouraged to swap cuttings and other items, making it a great place to build a collection sustainably.
Please note that everyone is welcome to attend one in-person meeting for free - subsequent participation requires becoming a full member. A Google Video link will be provided to full members who wish to attend meetings remotely. Additionally, special editions of the monthly meeting are sometimes hosted at members' apartments - as space is limited, first priority is given to full members to sign up for these events.
Our members and invited speakers have given amazing presentations on almost every topic related to cactus and succulents: from a history of collection in the Victorian Era to the mathematics behind phyllotaxy; field reports from habitat trips to Mexico and nurseries in Thailand. Click on the lists below to see full lists of talks in previous years! If there is a topic you would like to see covered please don't hesistate to contact us.
